Come See What We’re Up To

The Port hosts nearly 200 field trips and site tours each year at its restoration sites, including Masonville Cove, Hart-Miller Island, and the acclaimed Paul S. Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project at Poplar Island, commonly called Poplar Island. Field trips and tours are free (transportation to the sites is not provided), and the educational and informational content can be customized for the age and interests of any group.

On-Site Programs

On-site environmental education programs are available at Poplar Island and Hart-Miller Island, and partners provide a range of programs at Masonville Cove. All on-site programs are offered free of charge. Our educators are experienced in speaking with schools, the community, and special interest groups offering presentations on local wildlife and environmental restoration.
